Once Thanksgiving hits, I feel like the true indulging begins. We have the huge Thanksgiving meal, feel tired and bloated, maybe put on a few pounds in just one day, and then get the invites for the December holiday social gatherings. In the meantime, Christmas cookie baking begins and sweet temptations are EVERYWHERE! And it's not just cookies, how about those delicious Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes that come out this time of year! I swear I could eat 10 of those in one sitting! At this point, you are busy with your holiday shopping, work...life, and you are grabbing things here and there to eat. Next thing you know, you start to put on a couple of pounds by Christmas and just assume it will shred off as easy as it came. Your new clothes you got for Christmas feel a little snug and worse yet, so do the clothes you already have.
You then decide that your New Year's resolution will be none other than, to lose weight. You may purchase a gym membership and be committed for about a month, and then you are back to your same old routine.
